The maximum paper length is 3 pages + one extra page for references.
Papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format through the submission system.
select the Sub-Committee (SC) and sub-topic that best describe the technical scope and content of your paper.
select your preference for oral or poster presentation (oral only, poster only, oral or poster). The ECOC technical programme committee is free to choose any presentation type independent of your choice.
as student: choose if you would like to participate in the competition for the best student paper award (oral and poster). You must be the presenting author.
the complete author list including first & last names, affiliations and email addresses must be provided.
Revised versions of the paper can be uploaded until the submission deadline.
Acceptance/rejection notifications will be sent to the submitting author only.
Note: Demo papers are handled like regular papers. Please select "Demo Zone" under category upon submission.
The postdeadline paper submission is now closed.
Presenting authors have to participate to the conference on site. Remote presentations are only possible in case of covid-related legal restrictions prohibiting on-site participation.
Accepted paper must be associated to at least one author registered to the conference. Each registered author can present at most two accepted regular papers.
Only the papers that are correctly associated to a registered author will be included in the final programme.
The full version of the included papers will be published as part of the Technical Digest, complete with ISBN reference number and available to all conference delegates, and will be submitted for inclusion into Optica Publishing Group’s platform, IEEE Xplore and other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
